FAQ

– Answers To Our Most Common Questions –

  • Q: Can we pick our own apples?

We feature apple-picking during special events in the late summer and fall. Keep an eye on the ‘Events’ section of this website.

  • Q: Can we visit the orchard?

Yes, by appointment. Our cider mill is in the village while the orchard is a little to the north.

  • Q: What is in the Sweet Apple Cider?

Different varieties are pressed to produce the fresh apple cider. To preserve freshness, potassium sorbate is added.

  • Q: How do you make juice from apples?

Apples are sorted, washed, crushed and then pressed in a belt press. Juice is collected, UV treated, and then bottled and labelled. If we are pressing when you visit, you can watch the process happen!

  • Q: How long does your juice last?

It will keep three weeks from pressing in the refrigerator. If you would like to keep it for longer, the bottles can be kept in your freezer for 6 months.

Yes. Our facilities can accommodate wheelchairs & walkers.
